As an extension of his non-profit organization Hum Honge Kamyab (HHK) Foundation and the Saksham Yatra Podcast, we bring to you Kamyab Grants. Kamyab Grants aims to empower early stage enterpreneurs with grant money and mentorship. we are looking for startups working in education, inclusion and EdTech. Your organisation can be non-profit or for-profit.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR KAMYAB GRANTS

Who Should Apply?

  • Founder / Entrepreneur / Startup Eligibility : Early-stage entrepreneurs, startup founders, youth entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs with disabilities, individual founders, co-founding teams, registered education and disability startups

  • Sector Focus : Especially early childhood education, K–12 education, formal school education, education technology, disability inclusion, accessibility and inclusivity solutions, assistive technologies

  • Stage of Startup / Venture : Working prototype, minimal viable product, initial revenue or traction, proof of concept

  • Impact : Clear problem identification, scalable business model, high impact potential

1. Who can apply for Kamyab Grants? What is the eligibility criteria?
Kamyab Grants is open to these kinds of entrepreneurs: Early-stage entrepreneurs, youth entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs with disabilities, who are striving to make an impact in the education or disability inclusion sectors particularly. That said, Kamyab Grants is open for all types of startups working in varied sectors.
The eligibility criteria says that applicants must have a working prototype and some early traction.
2. What does Kamyab Grants offer to selected applicants / grant winners?
Selected entrepreneurs will receive seed funding / capital (of up to ₹10 lakh), mentorship, visibility support, and potentially an extended grant support based on the strength of the venture. Kamyab Grants as a program is primarily designed to help education-related / disability-related startups scale better and increase their impact.
3. Is Kamyab Grants applicable only for education startups?
No, Kamyab Grants also supports startups operating in other sectors. Every early-stage entrepreneur is strongly encouraged to apply.
4. What stage should the respective education / disability startup be at to apply?
Kamyab Grants for entrepreneurs is not intended for idea-stage concepts without validation. There should be a prototype, pilot implementation, early users, initial revenue, and other such factors of concern.
5. How are applications evaluated?
Kamyab Grants applications are evaluated through a merit-based process. The criteria primarily includes areas such as scalability, impact, founder / team commitment.
6. To apply for Kamyab Grants, is there any application fee?
No. There is no application fee for Kamyab Grants. Feel free to give it your best shot.
7. Can student founders apply?
Yes. Student founders and youth entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply, provided that they fulfil the eligibility criteria.
8. Are entrepreneurs with disabilities allowed to apply for Kamyab Grants?
Absolutely. Kamyab Grants actively encourages applications from entrepreneurs with disabilities.
9. How much capital does Kamyab Grants provide?
It varies depending on the startup’s stage and funding requirements. And though it is estimated to be of up to ₹10 lakh, Kamyab Grants may be extended on the basis of several factors.
10. Does Kamyab Grants take equity from selected founders / grant winners?
Kamyab Grants is primarily a grant-based support initiative for early-stage / new entrepreneurs that takes no equity. Specific terms and conditions, if any, will be shared in time.
